About Adam
The practical one behind the camera
Adam’s connection with the waterways began when he was 19, volunteering with the National Trust to help clear, conserve and restore sections of the River Wey and Godalming Navigations. Working directly beside the water gave him an early appreciation of the effort required to protect these historic places and keep them accessible for future generations.
With a professional background in IT, Adam is a natural problem-solver who enjoys understanding how technology works and finding practical solutions. Those skills will be invaluable when operating and maintaining Priscilla, particularly as she will be a modern, all-electric narrowboat.
Adam is now applying his technical experience to a new challenge: learning video recording, sound and production. From camera techniques and audio recording to editing and storytelling, he is developing the transferable skills needed to ensure their vlogs are engaging, polished and produced to a consistently high standard.
He brings a calm, practical perspective to the project, helping turn Chris’s ambitious plans into something tangible while capturing the honest reality of their journey along the way.
For Adam, Priscilla represents freedom, creativity and the chance to share their experiences with others—celebrating not only the destinations, but also the people, history and unexpected moments encountered between them.
“The waterways give us the chance to slow down, notice more and enjoy the journey together.”
